• Fabrics are tested against blood-borne pathogens using phi-X174 Bateriophage penetration after 25 wash cycles under the standard test mehtods ASTM F1670 and ASTM F1671

Stedprene® is designed for exceptional performance and protection in a variety of extreme weather or field situations. Stedprene® is a neoprene (synthetic rubber) compound that is completely waterproof, with superior hydrostatic resistance far exceeding 100 psi.

Stedfast Black Diamond rubberized protective fabrics offer the utmost in barrier textile design. Stedfast Black Diamond incorporates neoprene coatings for absolute protection from foul weather while adding a layer of UV protection against the effects of sunlight.

Low smoke BLACK DIAMOND FR^®

Stedfast Black Diamond FR (flame resistant) Low Smoke neoprene fabrics developed in a joint venture with Dupont. This new product will focus on specialized protective Wear for the electrical, utility, oil and gas industries. Low Smoke Neoprene offers protection from flame and electric arc, but does not generate any hazardous black smoke. It incorporates the rigorous standards of CGSB 155.20 and ASTM F 1891-99 standrad for Arc and Flame Resistant rainwear.

Ideal for harzardous working environments where heat, flame, and chemical exposure are potential dangers.
